Healthy Pot Roast

I’ve never made pot roast in my life before, but I’ve always wanted to try it, and I’ve got to say for a first attempt it tasted AMAZING!!

Here’s what you need:

  • Beef
  • Carrots
  • Peas
  • Cauliflower
  • Bell peppers
  • Onions
  • A few cloves of garlic
  • Artichoke
  • Broccoli (I love broccoli in this dish however I always forget to add it)
  • You can add whatever vegetables you want there are no rules in the kitchen
  • Spices: a dash of onion, garlic, ginger powder, black pepper, cinnamon
  • Dijon mustard
  • Rosemary
  • Coconut oil
  • Olive oil
  • Butter
  • Vinegar


  • Marinate the meat with the spices, olive oil, vinegar, and dijon or yellow mustard, or even better honey mustard
  • Heat the pan add coconut oil and a bit of butter, then add the garlic cloves and rosemary, then add the meat cook on each side till it gets a nice color
  • Get a baking tray and put all the ingredients together, wrap in aluminum foil
  • Cook in oven in the middle rack, highest temperature with the broiler on
  • The food will cook on steam
  • You can make side rice
  • It will take around 40-60 mins
